Rules for the shooting of fireworks in Raytown
FIREWORKS ARE LEGAL TO PURCHASE AND SHOOT IN RAYTOWN AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THESE RULES:
- Fireworks can only be shot on July 4th between the hours of 10 am and 11 pm
- Fireworks are not allowed in any public area or Raytown Park
- Bottle rockets, roman candles and stick missiles are PROHIBITED
- The consumer must have a valid and completed Raytown Fire Protection District Consumer Permit (print out the one below or visit any Raytown fireworks tent.
- They are free
2015 Consumer Permit.
Print this off and sign this before shooting any fireworks in Raytown. Failure to have a signed permit on hand may result in the issuance of a citation if we are called to your residence.

DISTRICTS.
CONSUMER FIREWORKS MAY ONLY BE SOLD
AND DISCHARGED DURING THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
Sold between 6:00 a.m. on June 29 and 10:00 p.m. on July 4.
Discharged on July 4 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
11:00 p.m.
BOTTLE OR STICK ROCKETS, MISSILES, SKY LANTERNS AND ROMAN
CANDLES ARE PROHIBITED FROM BEING SOLD OR
DISCHARGED AT ANY TIME WITHIN THE CITY OF RAYTOWN
ALL PERSONS SHOOTING FIREWORKS MUST HAVE A 2015 RAYTOWN FIRE DISTRICT FIREWORKS PERMIT, WHICH IS AVAILABLE FREE AT ANY RAYTOWN FIREWORKS TENT OR FIRE STATION

2014 Fire Prevention Week Open House
FIRE PREVENTION WEEK 2014
The Raytown Fire Protection District will be hosting an “open house”
during fire prevention week. All area residents are invited.
When: Saturday, October
11, 2014
Where: RFPD Fire Station
#1, 6020 Raytown Trafficway
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
There will be firefighting demonstrations, station
tours, free fire education/prevention material, and blood pressure checks.
Visitors will have an opportunity to practice the use of a fire extinguisher on
live training props, squirt a fire hose, register for door prizes, and enjoy
free refreshments.
