Raytown residents, inorder to legally shoot fireworks on July 4th you must have a permit in your possession and completely filled out. You may obtain a permit free of charge from any Raytown fireworks tent, Fire Station #1 (6020 Raytown Trafficway), or by simply printing the image above on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. If you are found shooting fireworks without a permit the Raytown Police will issue a ticket.
Fireworks are only legal to be shot on July 4th from the hours of 9am till 11pm. BOTTLE ROCKETS, ROMAN CANDLES, OR ANY FORM OF STICK MISSLE ARE ILLEGAL, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, AND SHALL NOT BE SOLD OR SHOT IN RAYTOWN.
