Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the restrictions enacted by Jackson County, the regularly scheduled meetings of the Raytown Fire Protection District will be held virtually on Zoom.

Raytown Fireworks Rules


Fireworks are legal to purchase and shoot in Raytown as long as you follow these rules:



  • Fireworks can only be shot on July 4th between the hours of 10 am and 11 pm
  • Fireworks are not allowed in any public area or Raytown Park
  • The consumer must have a valid and completed Raytown Fire Protection District Consumer Permit (print out the one below or visit any Raytown fireworks tent.  They are free)


Bottle Rockets, Stick Missles, and Roman Candles are PROHIBITED
