9-11 Memorial Stair Climb

On September 8,  2013 eight members of the Raytown Fire Protection District along with 336 other firefighters from the KC metro area climbed 110 floors of stairs in honor of the 343 who perished in the World Trade Center Collapse.  The climb was held at the AT&T Town Pavilion building located at 1111 Main street in Kansas City, MO.  This event was held as a benefit for the SAFE Endowment Fund, this fund provides financial support for the surviving spouses and dependents of sworn law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel who lose their life in the performance of their duties.
