Additional information:
Called to the scene of a garage fire, upon arrival found heavy fire venting from the garage doors, and garage roof. Neighbors reported all of the occupants were at work and had been contacted. Crews utilized two 1¾” attack lines and one 2 ½” attack line to bring the fire under control.  The roof partially collapsed during fire fighting operations, which hampered our attack.  During our suppression activities two firefighters suffered minor burns, which were treated on the scene, a third firefighter suffered a joint injury and is currently being evaluated at a local medical facility.
The family dog was rescued from the home by firefighters and was successfully resuscitated on the scene by fire personnel.  The pet was then turned over to the homeowners who then transported it to their veterinarian for further care.
